Allyl pentaerythritol - Introduction
1,3-propanediol, 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)-, allyl ether (also called allyl ring trimeric isocyanate) is an organic compound. Its chemical formula is C14H24N3O6 and its relative molecular mass is 336.36g/mol.
Nature:
1,3-propanediol, 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)-, allyl ether is a colorless to pale yellow liquid with low toxicity. It has good solubility, in water and a variety of organic solvents are soluble. It is stable at room temperature and in the air, but photochemically reacts when exposed to light.
Use:
1,3-propanediol, 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)-, allyl ether is widely used in the polymer industry, mainly used as a monomer to prepare polymers with excellent properties. These polymers have a wide range of applications in adhesives, coatings and inks. In addition, 1,3-propanediol, 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)-, allyl ether is also used as a crosslinking agent for the preparation of high molecular materials such as elastomers and sealing materials.
